The Waterford Athletics Department promotes the mission of the School by providing competitive athletic opportunities that enhance the overall liberal arts experience. The members of the Athletics Department coach students to become skilled players, passionate participants, and engaged community leaders. Through this process, student athletes become committed teammates who meet challenges on the field, the classroom, and in life with effort, respect, and honor.

Waterford Athletics is unique because it is a place where students are able to participate in numerous sports and activities throughout the year. While specialization towards one sport or activity is an option at Waterford, it can also be a place where a student can foster many different passions. We have students who run Cross Country in the Fall, join the school play in the Winter, and play soccer in the Spring, or students who play Volleyball in the Fall, play Basketball in the Winter and enroll in the Outdoor Club in the Spring!
