The Waterford community is vibrant and welcoming, where students are supported and celebrated for their achievements in and out of the classroom.
Inside the classroom, students encourage intellectual curiosity and a love for learning. Outside of classes, the community comes together regularly for School Assemblies, athletic competitions, Lunch Lecture Series, concerts, art exhibits, theatrical productions, and summer travel. With a wide range of formal clubs, leadership opportunities, and credit bearing extra-curriculars from which to choose, students discover new passions and learn to find balance among academics, responsible community service, athletics, the arts, and social obligations. The development of the whole student lends itself to time management, growth, and preparation for life beyond Waterford.
The Waterford Magazine shares stories that articulate Waterford’s impact—in the past, in the present, and for the future. It also seeks to highlight the activities of the school and its alumnae, as well as to help highlight people, events, and topics relevant to our entire community.
Welcome home, alumni! You are the legacy of our school, and we’re eager to make sure you stay connected with us and your peers for years to come. We urge you to visit our site regularly, for information on upcoming events, alumni news, and how to stay connected to former classmates and the School.
The Waterford School Alumni Association’s mission is to seek, reach, serve, and engage all alumni and students in order to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between The Waterford School and its alumni.
At Waterford, we recognize that philanthropy — voluntary action for the common good — is essential to the quality of life all around us. Through the remarkable dedication of parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, Waterford is able to enhance its academic programs, create compelling arts and athletics experiences, care for and grow our extraordinary campus and facilities, and more. The impact of philanthropy on our School is profound.
