Waterford School respects the privacy of all who visit its website at www.waterfordschool.org, subscribe to Waterford news updates, submit forms, and/or contribute to the School financially or with time or information.

Through the website, we only collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor. Your personal information will never be sold, leased, rented or otherwise disclosed in any manner to any entity without your prior consent unless otherwise required by law or as may be necessary as part of a regulatory compliance.

For alumni and parents whose children currently attend Waterford, your information in the alumni and/or parent portal is password protected and available only to authenticated users. If at any time you wish to opt out of our online directory, you may do so by updating your profile accordingly within that portal.

Please be aware that Waterford School is not responsible for the privacy policy of any other website. Some links on this website will take you to another party’s website and we encourage you to be aware when you are leaving our site.

Waterford School strictly prohibits the use, reproduction, redistribution and/or exploitation of School images for commercial purposes without express, written permission from the communications department. Although images published by the School in the public domain (i.e., on Flickr) may be used non-commercially without requesting permission, the use of any graphic from Waterford School’s official, non-public collection must be pre-approved.

Requests related to historic images that are part of Waterford’s Archives or any requests related to images in Waterford’s private digital archive and any graphic published on Waterford’s website should be directed to the communications department at communications@waterfordschool.org. The School reserves the right to deny any request for any reason, and archival images will be watermarked until approval for commercial or non-commercial use is granted.

All approved uses of Waterford images, including those downloaded from Flickr, should include the credit: “Photo or image courtesy of Waterford School.”
