Lucza B. ’22
Lucza B.

This week, Lucza B. ’22, was named a YoungArts Merit Winner! This is a prestigious distinction with YoungArts identifying the most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary and performing arts.

Winners are chosen for their caliber of artistic achievement by esteemed discipline-specific panels of artists through a rigorous blind adjudication process. All award winners—including Finalist, Merit and Honorable Mention award levels—receive mentorship and financial awards; gain access to a lifetime of creativeprofessional development and funding opportunities; and become part of an uplifting, inter-generational community that helps artists connect, create and collaborate.

"Lucza is one of the most dedicated and passionate young artists we have seen at Waterford. Her work is both visually stunning and conceptually sophisticated. I am pleased but not surprised that YoungArts has chosen her to be part of their wonderful program."

- Andrew Patteson, Visual Arts Department Chair
