Home Community Blog Head’s Photo of the Week: February 8, 2017
Photography teacher Bernie Meyers sharing his latest work with faculty.

Like the whole of our program, there are few, if any schools, that can claim the extraordinary depth and phenomenal breadth of the arts present here at Waterford. From strings, to choral, to dance and theater to painting, drawing, sculpture and ceramics, to photography, Waterford’s commitment to excellence in the arts is unparalleled.

I am blown away by all of the amazing arts faculty here at Waterford, all deeply devoted to their craft. They are extraordinary artists and inspiring teachers.

At this week's All-Faculty meeting, we were treated to a presentation by one of our talented arts faculty, Bernie Meyers. Bernie provided an overview of his RIT show, "Dividing Line." Bernie's clear vocation for photography inside and outside the classroom models such positive balance for our students.

I look forward to celebrating the Arts as a vital part of a Waterford education during Arts Week from March 21-25.
