The Waterford School College Counseling Team is excited to share the list of colleges and universities where students in the Class of 2023 have been admitted through the early application round. This class has discovered their passions, intellectual capability, and character through Waterford School’s broad and deep liberal arts program, including academics, fine and performing arts, and sports programs. They have achieved success as learners, athletes, artists, community members and friends and are well prepared to make the most of college and university programs that they have chosen carefully with the guidance of family, teachers, and counselors.

We are proud of their self-reflection and efforts to discover programs that match their interests and passions. With hundreds—and even thousands—of quality higher education opportunities, all students have researched their next steps carefully, have made meaningful applications to colleges, and are strong applicants with rigorous academics and arts preparation to support them in their college years. The 73 members of the Class of 2023 completed applications to 189 unique colleges and universities, with 144 acceptances so far to 74 unique colleges. 10 of 16 students who applied to highly selective binding Early Decision programs were accepted. We await more college decisions coming by April 1 for all students, and know that this creative, caring, engaged Class of 2023 will go on to contribute and grow in their college communities they have here at Waterford and that they will live lives of meaning and purpose.
