We look forward to learning more about you and your child who have shown interest in the Waterford School x Waterford.org Scholarship Program. As an employee of Waterford.org, you are invited to learn more about these scholarships through Waterford School’s Admissions Office by scheduling a visit. 

The four available partial scholarships are intended to recognize and encourage the curiosity of motivated students who possess special gifts and talents in STEM, the humanities, the fine and performing arts, athletics, community service, leadership, or other curricular and co-curricular passion and talent.

Partnership
Since its founding in 1981, the Waterford School has enjoyed an ongoing and vibrant partnership with its founding organization, Waterford.org.  Reflective of our long history and shared legacy of providing educational excellence for all learners, Waterford School and Waterford.org have partnered together to provide this exciting opportunity. 

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY 

  • The student must apply for admission into a grade level with an identified opening prior to the annual Priority Application Deadline of January 31.
  • The applicant’s parent must be an employee of Waterford.org with a minimum of one year of employment prior to the January 31 application deadline.
  • The student demonstrates solid academic achievements identified through current school transcripts, teacher recommendations, and standardized testing.
  • The candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to Waterford’s Core Values of Excellence, Integrity, Curiosity, Responsibility and Caring.
 

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION PROCESS

Up to 4 scholarships are available at any one time. 

The Waterford School x Waterford.org Scholarship is a partial scholarship. Scholarship awards may range from 10% to 90% tuition grant.  

The four combined scholarships awarded to Waterford.org shall average no more than an overall 50% reduction in tuition.

Scholarship award recipients must be qualified and admitted to Waterford through the school’s admission process.  The recipients will be determined to be mission-servable through the application process.

Scholarships will be available in grades where space availability is identified prior to the Priority Application Deadline of January 31.

The candidate will meet all admission qualifications through the submission of:

  • Application of Admission
  • School Records
  • Teacher Recommendations
  • On-campus interview and visit
  • On-campus assessments in literacy and math
  • Student Essay (Grades VI-XII)

Deadline:  Completed applications are due by JANUARY 31, 2022 for consideration in the 2022-2023 school year.

The final decision for the awarding of the Waterford School x Waterford.org Scholarships will be made by the Waterford School Admissions & Scholarship Committees; deliberations will remain confidential. Once a student has been admitted and awarded scholarship assistance, the award will be renewed annually through graduation so long as the student remains continuously enrolled and there are scholarships remaining in the Scholarship Pool. An annual review will be made of the student's achievement, citizenship, and participation in the Waterford community.
