Middle and Upper School Math Teacher

The Mathematics Department position will require teaching at both the Middle and Upper levels in a traditional curriculum ranging from Prealgebra to Advanced Topics. Specific course assignments will depend on the expertise of the candidate and the needs of the department. The ideal candidate would hold an advanced degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or related discipline, and at least two to three years of teaching experience at a secondary level. The successful candidate will be able to develop a healthy rapport with Middle and Upper School students, work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and will embrace Waterford School’s mission, vision, and values in curriculum, teaching, and membership in the community. A full-time course load entails full teaching responsibility for up to five courses, each meeting for one hour four times per week.
