Philanthropy at Waterford
The Waterford School’s Advancement Office identifies and secures resources that enable our school to provide exceptional educational opportunities for children and faculty within a supportive, enriching environment. To meet our financial needs, we rely on the generosity of parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff, friends, corporations and foundations. Waterford invites you to invest in our community with a tax-deductible gift and participate in special event programs in these following ways:
Waterford Fund – gifts that support annual operating expenses
Endowment — gifts that generate income, in perpetuity, and provide long-term financial stability and flexibility
Special Events – annual fundraising events like the Founder’s Gala
Restricted Gifts —gifts directed to specific projects or departments
- Planned Gifts – gifts through wills and estate plans
The amount each family and individual gives is a personal decision. We hope that all members of the Waterford community will participate with thoughtful and proportionate support. Corporations, foundations, and other friends of the school look first at the voluntary financial support provided by those closest to Waterford before deciding the level at which they will support our school. Increasing our overall participation from the Waterford community is critical. Every gift makes a difference, regardless of the amount.
