Tim Dolbin

Tim Dolbin, Math Teacher at the Waterford School, is a graduate from Brigham Young University where he earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics Education and an M.A. degree in Mathematics. He was chair of the Mathematics Department from 1996-2005 and won the all-schools Educator’s Prize in 2006. Before arriving at Waterford in 1994, Tim taught at Murray High School (Murray, UT) for three years. He has remained a Utah level 4 licensed and certified math teacher since that time. He is married with 5 children (graduates in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021). Tim also works at Brigham Young University Salt Lake campus as an evening mathematics instructor. He enjoys running half-marathons, spending time in the mountains, and riding dirt bikes.
