Sue graduated from the State University College at Buffalo in New York in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. In June 2010, Sue accepted a position at Waterford school as a reading tutor in the lower school. During her twelve years at Waterford, she has taken on many different roles in our tutoring program, including writing lesson plans, gathering class resources for classroom assignments, becoming proficient with Step Up to Writing and implementing technology support, such as speech recognition for students with output challenges. Sue is a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and holds a Level 1 certification from the Wilson Language Academy. For the past few years, Sue has taken on the role of Writing Support Coordinator. Whenever asked what she does for work she  states, “I support students with challenges in reading and writing at the Waterford School and it’s the best job I’ve ever had, because of the support of administration, faculty and co-workers!”
