Matt Robertson is in his fifth year as the Music Specialist for Classes III-V in the Lower School. He earned Master’s Degrees in Child Development (Wheelock College, 1998) and Choral Conducting (University of Utah, 2015), and was previously a member of the music faculty at The Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City.
Mr. Robertson remains an active professional musician and has performed or recorded with many groups including Utah Chamber Artists, the Choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine, Sound of Ages, the Grand Teton Festival Chorus, Piano Guys, the Eagles, and Andrea Boccelli.
Matt and his wife Heather live in Salt Lake City. Their three grown children are Miles (married to Madi), Emily, and Luca. Matt and his family love going on walks, playing games, watching shows, and spending unseemly amounts of time in fits of laughter.
