Matt Robertson teaches music for Classes III-V. He has earned Master’s Degrees in Child Development (Wheelock College, 1998) and Choral Conducting (University of Utah, 2015).
Matt was previously a member of the music faculty at The Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City, where he was Director of the St. Nicholas Choir and the MCS Chamber Orchestra. He remains an active professional musician throughout the Wasatch Front, where he is a section leader for Utah Chamber Artists, sings and records frequently with groups ranging from the Utah Symphony Chorus to The Piano Guys, has played the double-bass for the Orchestra at Temple Square, and serves as Associate Director of the Amavi Chorale.
Matt and his wife Heather live in Salt Lake City. They have a son, Miles (married to Madi) and two daughters, Emily and Lucy. They love going on walks, playing games, hanging out together, and they spend unseemly amounts of time in fits of laughter.
