Kylie Geci

Kylie Geci will begin her teaching career at Waterford in the Fall of 2019. Kylie graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a Bachelor Degree in Music Education with an emphasis in voice. She began her teaching career at Otto-Eldred Junior-Senior High School, where she conducted the choirs for grades 5-12. Kylie also developed a number of music elective curriculums, including Guitar, Piano and Modern Band. During her tenure at Otto-Eldred, Kylie organized many choral performances, as well as assisted the band director in other concerts, fundraisers and events. Kylie returned to Indiana University of PA to receive her Masters in Music Education and graduated in 2018.

In her spare time, Kylie built a strong fan base as a local musician in an acoustic group where she played guitar and sang lead vocals. Kylie also recorded a song on a Christmas complication CD, “Christmas Wonder” in 2017. Besides music, Kylie enjoys the outdoors, staying active biking, skiing and hiking. She is excited to begin her journey at Waterford where she hopes grow professionally and personally through collaborative, educational opportunities and threw rapports developed with her students.
