Julie is beginning her eighth year as a Lower School reading tutor at Waterford. Previously, she tutored at Willow Springs Elementary School for two years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from BYU and loves reading, interior design and event planning. She is the Dibels team leader for testing lower school students in Benchmark and Progress Monitoring. She works with classroom teachers to assist students in reading fluency and supports small reading group instruction. Julie also offers homework help. She enjoys working at Waterford because of the continuing education and training. Julie has assisted with reading in kindergarten for Susan Banks and JoAnne Price the past two years. She also does Pre-K literacy three times a week.
