Debbie has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. She later received her gifted endorsement to gain extra skills to help all students achieve their personal best. For the past several years she has been teaching the 4th grade gifted class in the Granite District. She believes that the concepts taught in the gifted classes can be used to enhance the education for all students. She loves the energy and enthusiasm that children have as they learn something new! She loves living by the mountains where we have easy access to skiing. Skiing as a family became her favorite winter activity. She also loves most sports including biking, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and swimming. Her favorite summer activity is teaching her grandchildren to swim. She enjoys the family vacation to Laguna Beach each summer where the family is able to put those swimming skills to good use! She loves to see all children accomplish hard things! Besides her children and grandchildren, she has two dogs. Her two dogs, Marco and Polo keep her busy in her after school hours!
