Darren Beck, IT Director at Waterford School attended Advanced Technical Center learning network and system administration and achieved the following technical certifications: Networking Essentials, A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Daren later attended Guru Labs, which was focused on Linux System Administration, and earned the certification of Redhat Certified Systems Engineer.
Darren started at Waterford School in 1999 as a Systems Administrator. Since then he has worked for the Waterford Institute as a Systems/Network Administrator, Linux Networks as a Field Service Systems Engineer, and as a Small Business IT Consultant. Darren returned to Waterford School as the IT Director in 2004.
Darren enjoys spending time with his family and if at all possible be in the mountains hiking, skiing, or simply relaxing.
