Beth Sakaguchi is in her fifth year as a Waterford Reading Tutor. She completed Level I and Level II Certification with the Wilson Reading System Practicum through the University of Utah Reading Clinic. She graduated with a BA in organizational communication from the University of Utah, and has an MA in Linguistics with a TESOL emphasis from Brigham Young University. She taught in intensive ESL programs at both BYU and the University of Utah. She worked for the non-profit English Skills Learning Center, serving refugees living in Salt Lake County. She speaks some conversational Korean. She has three children and her husband is a Waterford Alumni. She is excited to work amongst such supportive, passionate, and dedicated educators.
