Becky Modderman graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelors in Education before finishing her Masters of Education from the University of Utah. In her 15 years of teaching, she has taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, as well as the Arts to Kindergarten through 6th grade students. She has also worked with children in China learning English via an online platform.
Becky likes to dabble in everything crafty! She loves to crochet ocean-themed stuffies and create using her new toy, a laser! She loves to learn new things and isn’t afraid to try something new even if it takes many many tries to figure it out!
As empty nesters with 2 children and 3 grandchildren, Becky and her husband have found a new passion as SCUBA instructors at Neptune Divers in Sugarhouse. They travel often, discovering new places and enjoying the serenity of the sea. Becky is also a certified Mermaid and teaches courses in becoming a part of the Merfolk community. Don’t knock it until you try it!
