Waterford Seeks Full-Time Director of In-House Math and Science Tutoring Program.

Starting as soon as possible, Waterford needs an effective tutor and tutoring program administrator to lead an existing math/science tutoring program serving students across Middle and Upper School. Core responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and coaching MS and US math/science tutors. The math/science tutoring director will also administer the daily operations of the program: arrange the schedule of tutoring appointments within available time windows of the master school schedule; oversee and facilitate regular communication between tutors and teaching faculty; track student progress within the tutoring program; and facilitate parent communication with tutors and understanding of the tutoring program. Through all of this work, the math/science tutoring director will coordinate with the reading/writing tutoring director, and with school deans. The math/science tutoring will also administer a summer tutoring program.
The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a relevant field, multiple years of tutoring experience, and strong writing, communication, and organization skills.
