The Waterford Quintet, composed of Adrian W. ’24 on first violin, Grant B. ’26 on second violin, Nathan K. ’24 on viola, Dalloway S. ’26 on cello, and Connor G. ’25 on bass, will perform twice in England later this month. The quintet recently won first prize in the London and Brussels Virtuoso International Music Competitions and were invited to perform at Royal Albert Hall on April 27. They will also perform on April 26 in Milner Hall at Rhodes House at Oxford University. Each member brings unique talents and skills to the group, resulting in a cohesive and dynamic sound.
The Waterford Quintet is more than just a group of talented musicians. They are also hardworking, committed, and involved in various extracurricular activities in addition to their academics and musical pursuits at Waterford. The quintet is coached by Waterford’s Orchestra Director, Kathy Morris, an experienced and accomplished musician and long-time beloved faculty member at the school.
