Waterford Libraries
The Lower School and the Middle/Upper Schools each have a library with resources and programs appropriate to the ages of the students they serve. The two libraries house an extensive collection of print and non-print materials, online resources and the latest computer technology. Our philosophy is to support the curricular needs of the students and faculty in all aspects of their academic work and to foster a love of learning. The libraries are a place where students gather to study, read, research, relax, daydream or rest.
The Lower School library is a completely automated 4,000 square foot space completed in 2005. It contains 16,000 volumes, 5 periodicals, and access to online databases.
The East Library serves the Middle and Upper Schools. The library is completely automated with Internet access. It contains 11,000 volumes, 650 non-print items, 60 periodicals, four newspapers, and online databases.
