Financial Aid
The Waterford School admits students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. To fulfill this commitment, the School maintains a Financial Aid Program to support highly qualified Upper School students, in Classes IX-XII. These grants are for partial tuition and are need based.
The Financial Aid Committee considers achievement, merit, integrity, citizenship and the potential for full participation in the Waterford community. Students must demonstrate a desire to learn, to be ready to study, practice and achieve in a rigorous academic environment.
How to Apply
To be eligible for financial aid, parents must complete the School and Student Service for Financial Aid application by March 1. Supporting documentation (1040 and relevant schedules) is required. The application is available through the Admissions Office.
The School and Student Service for Financial Aid is a service that provides Waterford with a calculation of need, yielding the recommended Parental Contribution for Education. Guided by this recommendation, the School determines the amount of financial aid award. Aid may range from a minimum amount to one-half tuition grants. Awards are reassessed annually.
